The Plymouth County Jail is a 54 bed facility that contains six pods. Each pod consists of individual cells, restroom and shower facilities and a day room. The pods are classified as male general population, male maximum, female general population, female maximum, special status and work release. The jail also has a recreation area, medical room, booking room and control room.
The Plymouth County Jail Division consists of one Jail Lieutenant, two Jail Sergeants, nine full-time Correctional Officers and five part-time Correctional Officers. The Jail Lieutenant is in charge of upholding policies and procedures and daily operations of the jail. The Jail Sergeants assist the Lieutenant with daily operations of the correctional facility and transport services. The Correctional Officers maintain order and monitor all inmates within the jail facility.
