We are a full service agency employing 114 Commissioned Deputies, 91 Corrections Officers and 31 support personnel that are supplemented by well over 150 volunteers providing exceptional law enforcement services for the citizens of Kitsap County.    As a full service law enforcement organization, your Sheriff's Office provides the following services to our citizens:  Uniformed Police Response Service, A 451-Bed Adult Correctional Facility, Alternative to Incarceration Program, Traffic Enforcement and Collision Investigations, Criminal Records and Civil Service Process Services, Property and Evidence Security, Criminal Investigations and Crime Scene Processing, Court Security Unit, Specialty Enforcement Programs, SWAT, Marine Patrol, Special Investigations Unit (SIU), Kitsap Nuisance Abatement Team (KNAT), Bicycle Patrol, Bomb Disposal Unit (WSP), K-9 Tracking and Drug Dog Program, Search and Rescue Coordination, Host Agency for Criminal Justice Services, WestNET Drug Task Force and Meth Lab Response Team, Regional Training Center for State Criminal Justice Training, Traffic Safety Program Coordinator, Home Land Security Response Vehicle and Analytical Services
